About

My name is Kevin Tran, and I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I will be completing two bachelor degrees in philosophy and religious studies. I hope to be able to continue on to grad school for theology or divinity. Whenever I share my majors with people, they initially give me a funny look as if they are the most useless things in the world. However, I firmly believe that each generation has its own dilemmas to solve, its own identity to grasp. As a philosopher, I hope to weigh my thoughts on my generation’s identity; as I pursue a secondary degree, I hope to guide my generation to an identity that is rooted firmly with God.

I am currently involved with the Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band as an assistant section leader for the trumpet section. I also serve as the president of the Catholic Campus Ministry at UNCC.

I live with my two loving parents and my younger brother. I am an avid gamer in my spare time, and I really enjoy watching those YouTube videos on the philosophies of fictional characters.
